My client, an internationally reputable Investment Bank is seeking a seasoned Liquidity Risk professional for a contracting role to develop and monitor the Liquidity Risk Framework and Policy and review/approve Liquidity limits/metrics Liquidity Risk management tools.

RESPONSIBLITIES:

- Provide challenge to Treasury on risk assessments, actions and adequacy of Liquidity Risk related control, in addition to preparing agreed key risk reporting requirements for review.
- Maintain, create and prepare Liquidity Framework/Policies prior to Finalisation.
- Understanding global liquidity regulations and in liaison with Treasury agreeing on the way these are captured and managed;
- Agree with treasury on appropriate risk measurement tools, including limit and target setting
- Presenting to senior management on a variety of topics related to liquidity risk.
- Monitor and challenge the effectiveness and adherence to the Liquidity Framework and provide assurance to Senior Management;
- Review draft versions of the ILAA, Contingency Funding Plan, EWIs, Limits and provide feedback to the Treasury and Risk teams;
- Review business owned Standards to ensure compliance with the ERMF and sufficient coverage of liquidity risk is achieved;

REQUIREMENTS:

- Educated to degree level or above
- Analytical mind, capable of collecting and assessing multiple risk information from diverse sources.
- Strong understanding of the funding risk including risk assessment, measuring and reporting; Experienced in implementation and development of risk frameworks/policies;
- The role holder will need to have a sound understanding of risk management practices and the ability to establish credible and trusted partnerships with their stakeholders;
- Deliver proactive and consistent risk assessment programme to increase accuracy and completeness of risk profiles.
