Linux/Unix Engineer Team Lead - Banking Salary: VP Banking Salary Location: London A leading global investment bank is looking to hire a Linux/Unix Team Leader to head up their Linux/Unix Systems Admin team: * 50% Hands On / 50% Team Management * Team Leader for 10+ regional Unix/Linux resources, requires previous experience leading an enterprise Linux/Unix team, ideally in banking * Team responsible for the support, maintenance, monitoring, performance tuning, configuration and engineering of Unix/Linux platforms. * Strong stakeholder relationship management and project delivery skills Ideal technical experience: * AIX, Red Hat and Solaris platforms (multiple versions) * Associated core technologies: TCP/IP, DNS, NFS, NIS, LDAP etc. * Strong scripting/automation knowledge: Bash/ksh/perl/python. * Config Mgmt: Puppet/CFengine/Chef. * Ideally good knowledge of power hardware models, VIO server/powerVM, NIM (network installation), and CSM (clustering) for automated OS builds.
