Linux/Unix Infrastructure Engineer

Linux/UNIX infrastructure engineer for a major Dutch organisation, with one of the largest global Linux/UNIX infrastructures.  They are looking for a candidate with expertise in managing a Linux/UNIX complex technical environment used by application developers to work as part of their large global team.  

The responsibilities of the Linux/UNIX infrastructure engineer will encompass on going BAU management of the Linux/UNIX infrastructure as well as projects for the delivery of the enhancement of the environment.

To be considered for the Linux/UNIX infrastructure engineer  opportunity we are looking for candidates that have demonstrable expertise working with a range of core Linux/UNIX Servers, but as good the core requirements are:

- 5+ Years experience within the management of Linux/UNIX environment hosted on HP Servers so ideally HPUX experience within UNIX
- Redhat Linux certification and expertise
- Virtualisation of Redhat with Redhat Enterprise Virtualization

The rate for this role is based on excellent market rate and this will be offered on a long term basis with contractors staying on-site for a number of years at a time.
