Linux Systems Engineer - Cloud Computing Infrastructure

We are looking for a professional Linux Systems Engineer specialising in cloud computing infrastructure to be based within our team in Zurich. The ideal role holder will have around 10 years Linux experience, and have a track record for diagnosing complex problems. The cloud project is critical for our financial services based client, you will therefore be required to hit the ground running acting as a lead and advisory for the Linux Infrastructure Team.

Skills Required:
*Linux Professional, Red Hat Linux (from 6.x to actual Enterprise 6.4) Oracle Enterprise Linux
SuSe Enterprise Linux, CentOS, Fedora.
*Virtualization Platforms: VMware ESX/ESXi, Citrix Xenserver, Xen, KVM, libvirt
*Cloud Technologies and Platforms: VMware vCloud, AWS
*Databases: Oracle, MySQ
*Cluster technologies: Red Hat Cluster Suite, Oracle Grid Cluster (RAC) 10g/11g, ACFS, OCFS 2, GFS 1/2, Linux-HA, Pacemaker, IPVS
*Scripting languages: Bash and standard UNIX Tools (AWK, SED). Python/Ruby

Daily responsibilities will be executed as a Lead Engineer for Linux Infrastructure focused on Linux and Cloud Solution, working in numerous projects and acting as a mesh of roles to include system architect, Linux Engineer and Cloud/DevOps Engineer managing the infrastructure design and delivery.
