LINUXSYSTEMS ENGINEER

An industry leader and one of the largest global media technology conglomerates is looking for a talented Platform Systems Engineer! This individual will work with a sharp team and help take the infrastructure to new levels of performance, scalability and capabilities!

WHAT TO EXPECT:

You will be a part of a group of advanced technologist that will provide world class platform and infrastructure services for the internal application teams.

You will manage applications across physical, virtual and cloud instances and tailor applications deployment systems to meet operational needs.

You will be responsible for the full deployment, infrastructure automation, and providing the tools for the operations team to manage the full life cycle of each application.

Required Skills:

. 5+ years with infrastructure management, linux administration and networking services
. 2+ years in a high volume public-facing web site environment
. Experience with Puppet, MCollective and Factor pat and Akami part
. Experience with cloud compute (google, AWS, Rackspace. etc)
. An understanding of non-relational data stores such as MongoDB, Riak or Couch DB
. Experience running hot-hot across multiple locations
. Should be able to manage several active projects simultaneously
. Excellent verbal and written communication and problem solving skills
