LINUX SYSTEMS ARCHITECT
Our client, a major multinational based in Dublin, Ireland, is now building a Cloud Services division, with the focus on the design and development of infrastructure solutions that use cutting edge tools and services. This position will be customer facing and will lead the development of solutions, so the ideal candidate will have worked in a similar role with both the people and technical skills.
Technically, the skills required are hands-on experience with this technology stack, including design and implementing systems from scratch. Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP are the key skills needed to transfer systems to become cloud-based.
THE JOB:
- Asses what is needed technically and present findings
- Design solutions from scratch, including testing, POC, Documentation for production environments
- Run implementation strategy, delivering solutions alongside the marketing teams
HAVE YOU?
- 4+ years of experience in Linux architecture, with a focus on enterprise level design
- Solid experience creating cloud service based infrastructure
- Expert in: Various Flavours of Linux, PHP, MySQL, Apache, Desktop and system Virtualization (Citrix)
- Skilled in the use of IT automation software for system administrators
- The ability to script/code for the purpose of configuration, deployment and scaling Servers and applications
This is an excellent opportunity to secure a 6/12 month rolling contract role with a well established global organization with a great daily rate on offer.
