We have an urgent requirement for a highly talented Linux Systems Administrator to join one of the world's leading tech companies based in Central London.

The Linux Sys Admin will be working on a competitively paid day rate contract for six months. The successful Systems Administrator will benefit from having one of the biggest names in technology on their CV.

The ideal Linux Systems Administrator will have the following skillset:

- Solid experience of running and maintaining a 24x7 production environment
- Extensive years of experience of operating *NIX systems administration or development
- Experience with scripting Python, Ruby, Perl, or similar languages
- Experience with support procedures and methodologies for production computing environments
- Experience with service-oriented architecture and web services

It would be beneficial for the Linux System Administrator to have:

· Experience with very large, high-throughput distributed systems
· Systems Administration or Development in a Linux/Unix environment
· Programming/scripting in a Unix/Linux environment
· Experience with some aspect(s) of computer security: network security, application security, security protocols, cryptography, etc.
· Experience with service-oriented architecture and web services
· Experience with agile software development practices
