LINUX SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR (OPENSHIFT) - BELGIUM

Languages: ENGLISH and DUTCH (bilingual)

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

- At least 5 to 10 years' experience in supporting a LINUX infrastructure for a business-critical environment.
- Knowledge on building and maintaining an Openshift platform is mandatory.
- Knowledge on automations like Ansible and Puppet is desirable.
- Knowledge on monitoring tool Prometheus and Nagios is desirable.
- Knowledge on supporting virtual and physical Linux Servers (mainly Red Hat) is desirable.
- Knowledge of Network basics is a must (LAN, Routes, NAT)
- Knowledge on SAN/Storage is a plus.
- Knowledge on Oracle and PostgreSQL databases is an advantage.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK:

- Working in a business-critical environment with high visibility, the candidate will join the Linux/Unix infrastructure team in close cooperation with the application development team.
- Candidate will lead and implement Openshift platforms and automations as well as smaller scale improvements.
- Candidate will analyse current situation and mode of operations and propose improvements.
