Linux Systems Administrator Job

SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Omaha, NE.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Responsible for providing systems administration support to the program's production.
- Test and development Linux and Enterprise Storage Solution (ESS) system environments.
- System installation, configuration, troubleshooting, performance analysis, tuning, upgrading, patch maintenance, license management,
- Implementing and maintaining system security postures
- System backup administration
- User account/environment administration
- Fiber attached storage partitioning and presentations

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Associate's degree in and a minimum of six (6) years of relevant professional experience, or a commensurate combination of education, training and experience.
- Three (3+) years of hands-on experience with RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and RHEL HA (high availability) cluster management using RedHat Satellite Server (RHSS).
- Three (3+) years of hands-on experience managing HP and/or Dell Blad Servers and chassis, implementing RHEL and SELINUX security lockdown procedures, using RedHat Enterprise Virtualization (RHEV).
- Must have (or be able to obtain within 45 days of start) one of the following certifications: A+, Network+, Linux+, Security+, CCNA, or MCDST.

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience with networking/zoning to include VLAN/VSAN setup and Storage Area Network (SAN) administration to include Compellent and HP XP24000 storage.
- Previous experience supporting DoD/government customers.
