Linux Systems Administrator

Unix Engineer - Linux , RedHat, SLES, Nottingham/East Midlands. Initial 3 months contract with likely extensions. Rate c350 per day.
THE ROLE INVOLVES:
* Implement user and infrastructure change requests as required.
* Provide 2nd and 3rd level technical support for escalated system and user problems.
*To liaise with hardware vendors and service providers on operational issues, technical solutions and strategies in line with Global initiatives.
* Monitor performance of service components and environments and provide management reporting. *Linux Server provisioning
*Guarantee the support, management, integrity and quality of the UNIX Servers infrastructure within the UK and Europe and to provide second line support to the other support teams, development and Operations Required:
* General skills as a UNIX user
* Strong Linux Systems Administration (SUSE or Redhat)
* TCP/IP Networking
