SENIOR LUNIX SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR-CONTRACT (M/W)
For our client we are looking for a Senior Linux System Administrator for 6 months contract:
THE CANDIDATE FOR THIS POSITION WILL NEED TO:
Perform daily operations support functions, including problem isolation and resolution.
Work with vendor to ensure backups, hardware and network.
Manage storage (NAS, SAN, DAS)
Account admintration
Manage software environment
Monitor and report on overall system
Manage in depth the job dispatcher
THE PERSON:
Our ideal candidate will have a unique blend of impeccable technical skills, a desire to lead within a team environment and the ability to multi-task and work independently within a dynamic operational environment. We need effective communicators who can work within a matrixed environment and represent the company effectively to customers and other external resources. A high level of technical credibility is essential for success.
Some attributes include:
5+ years of experience administering systems in a production operations environment.
Strong experience with Red Hat Linux, and Job despatcher.
Strong experience with GPFS, Intel based hardware and virtualisation.English Fluent
