Linux System Administrator

I have a big opportunity for a long term contract for a LINUX SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR based with our client in Zurich, Switzerland. This is working for one of Switzerland's fastest growing Cloud computing companies. This is a challenging role looking to build a stable Linux Infrastructure, monitoring the Servers and testing to solve failures.

It will be for an initial 6 months working alongside their IT Manager as an expert in system administration.

My Client is offering between €62+ per hour based on previous experience. They are also offering benefits.

You will be tasked with:

- Experience installing and configuring Linux OS
- Scripting
- Support, repairing and troubleshooting
- Storage Systems
- System builds

The successful contractor will have:

- UNIX Skills (LDAP, DNS (bind), NFS, rsync and iptables
- Linux Exposure
- System administration experience (3 years +)
- Scripting Skills (BASH, PERL, PYTHON, RUBY)
- Hadoop or AWS experience is highly desirable
- Experience working with Cloud computing
- Fluent English
