Linux System Administrator

My client is a major Hedge Fund looking to add a Linux Infrastructure Engineer We are looking for someone with 4 years + in the Linux systems administration field, performing systems administration and troubleshooting, and in an environment where security and availability are of very high priority. Qualifications/ Skills * Must have experience with real-time, ASP, or mission-critical 24/7 trading systems * Experience with managing server footprint and networking across multiple datacenters in distant locations * Strong experience with evaluating and implementing open source tools * Network servers and switches (AD, DNS, DHCP, WINS integration, Group Policy, Security, TCP, MCAST, and SNMP) * Experience with several flavors of Linux * Experience with troubleshooting firewalls, VPNs, and IP Routing * NAS management under Windows and Linux * Experience supporting software engineers in a C++ / python environment * Experience with technology security policies of large institutions Installing, configuring and maintaining computing infrastructure, operating systems, and software products on Linux and Windows computing platforms Responsible for implementation and support of operating systems and/ or product solutions for optimum performance, stability, reliability, security, etc. If you meet the following criteria and want to take your career to the next level apply to Joseph Amanna at Huxley Associates.
