Linux Support Engineer

LINUX SUPPORT ENGINEER

A Linux Support Engineer is urgently required for a long-term, lucrative freelance assignment with a market leading client based in the Friesland area of Netherlands.

The Linux Support Engineer must be eligible to work in Netherlands and speak Dutch at B1 level (minimum).

THE LINUX SUPPORT ENGINEER WILL IDEALLY HAVE 70%+ OF THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

- Linux and Tomcat (RHEL) experience - essential
- Very strong Ops/Support experience in Linux environments
- Very comfortable with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Some experience with Continuous Delivery/Deployment and related tools
- Educational level: Master of Science or equivalent
- Some knowledge of Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Grafana is strongly preferred
- Some knowledge of or experience with automated test tooling (for example Gatlin, LoadRunner) strongly preferred
- Knowledge of Operational Control Dashboard 'nice to have'
- Excellent command of the Dutch and English language, both speaking and writing
