Major financial firm is seeking an entry level Linux Support Admin with Solaris and variant of Linux (Redhat).
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years. of Open platform operations experience.
- Ability to check network interfaces and gateways
- Ability to shutdown/startup OS
- Ability to check out disk drives/cpus and memory
- Limited Shell programming capabilities (SH/KSH)
- Create accounts and check processes
- Logical volume management (LVM/VERITAS)
- Web interface management (DRAC/ILOM/SP)
Vendor liaison for troubleshooting needs. - Documentations skills.
- Local to the Chicago area
