Linux Redhat Cert. Engineer

Linux REDHAT Cert Engineer is required by Profs4U for a Dutch client,
Contract period of 9 months +, Worklocation Amstelveen,
Starting 01/04/2015. 40 hours per week,
Max hour rate 51 euro, ex vat,
Closing date 27/03/2015 - 10:00.

Our client is looking for multiple Dutch speaking Linux RedHat Certified Engineers to work on several projects.
Typical examples of the deliverables are building proof-of-concept solutions with server system technology and architecting server solutions to address client requirements

Extensive description of the role and responsibilities involved
"Project support and delivery on Linux, like:
- Installing Linux based packages
- Create start/stop scripts
- Configure of the Linux setup
- Support the application installations
- Creating Linux software builds to easy install systems

Must haves skills:
- Extensive hands-on knowledge and experience (minimum 3 years) of Redhat 5 and 6 (Linux Redhat Engineer Certification) (LPIC-2 and higher level is a pre)
- Satelite server
- LVM
- Networking (CCNA and higher level)
- Security

Additional skills (desired):
- Hadoop and Clustering
- RHEL 5.x - 6.x experience 3+ years
- Shell, PERL Scripting
- SELinux
- ITIL

Additional skills: (nice to have)
AIX, VMWare, RES Automation manager, RHEV, RHCS, J2EE hosting, Hadoop
IBM Server hardware, Tivoli, IBM Lotus Notes
Additional knowledge which is nice to have is SAN Volume Controller (SVC), IBM Storage Manager, SAMBA v3, Active Directory integration, MS Project, Visio, BEA Weblogic v8, MySQL, Apache, Perl, PHP and other related programs
IBM Foundational Competencies:

- Good written and verbal communication skills and has to communicate effectively in technical terms.

Work experience needed
Minimum 5 years experience as a Linux engineer
Experience working in a large national/international company (enterprise environment, bank)
Experience with Linux projects from design to implementation
Experience with Linux security, networking and satelite server
