Amoria Bond is looking for a Unix/Linux Engineer for a client in Amsterdam. The project will last at least until the end of the year, but will most probably only end half way through 2016. 3 months rolling contracts are offered.

The client is looking for Unix/Linux Administrators & Engineers due to several implementation and roll out projects. Part of the Unix/Linux Engineers will be working on the projects, others will support and troubleshoot the environment (as back-fill).

One of the largest projects is implementing Puppet in their Infrastructure IT environment. They would need Engineers to help them roll-out the Puppet for 10.000 machines, of which 5.000 are Linux machines. Next to this the client needs extra Unix/Linux administrators to support and troubleshoot the environment, as this project takes up a lot of time. Some internal employees will work on the projects, so than it would mean replacing this employee in support (back-fill). The hosting department needs help in the 3rd line administration, optimizing the administration environment, and be the 'go to guy' in the department.

After a couple of months the client will start automating the environment, so Scripting knowledge is desirable (but no must). Other, preferable skills, include experience in Enterprise environments (500+ Servers), and a LPIC-2 certificate.
