An exciting opportunity for a Linux or Unix Systems Administrator, this is a contact opportunity based in Vilnius, Lithuania. The role is with a leading international company.

As a Linux or Unix Systems Administrator you will be responsible for the:
*Provide Production Unix/Linux support to all business areas
*Managing change and incident tickets
*Looking at performance related issues
*OS Patching
*Problem solving
*Cluster installation and configuration
*Proactive maintenance
*Audit/security resolution
*Proactive capacity management/performance issues
*Project implementations

As a Linux or Unix Systems Administrator you will need the following skills:
*Extensive understanding of the Linux operating system (Redhat Enterprise Linux)
*Strong understanding of TCPIP Network architecture
*Demonstrable knowledge of DNS, NTP, DHCP
*Good understanding of Clustering and HA concepts
*Strong understanding Veritas VM, FS, VCS
*Understanding of ITIL best practices for IPC
*Good Shell Scripting knowledge (bash/ksh)
*Understanding of Perl
