Linux/NETWORK SPECIALIST (NETWORK SECURITY/ADMIN, CISCO)

The contract is with a large consultancy based in Brussels to be on assignment at a client in The Netherlands. The client is looking for a Linux Network Specialist that is security cleared to EU Confidential or higher for a long-term contract.

Specific criteria:

Language level

Mandatory:

Working knowledge of English B2 or higher

Professional Experience

Mandatory:

Formal education of at least 3+ years or Bachelor equivalent in technical/scientific studies (ie Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics)

Mandatory:

A minimum of 7 years of experience in Network security and administration

Mandatory:

Participation in a minimum of 3 projects involving network architecture in public administrations

Professional Knowledge - mandatory or desirable

Mandatory:

Acknowledged network security certification

eg. CCNS Security, Cisco Firewall, SDIDS, JNICS-SEC, Check Point Certified Security Administrator CCSA, RSA Certified Systems Engineer Secure ID

Cisco Certified Network Associate Security - Cisco routing, switching, Firewalling, VPN, IDS/IPS, CSM

Desirable:

Network Security

via exams or course:
Tripwire enterprise integrity monitoring and change assessment
Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)

or experience

Cisco Firewalling, VPN, IDS/IPS, CMS
Check Point Firewalling, VPN
Juniper Firewalling, VPN
SINA VPN
Integrity monitoring and compliancy testing
Load balancing
Secure proxies
Secure wireless
