Amoria Bonds Banking client in The Amsterdam area are looking for a Linux Engineer with Red Hat 5.4 to work on a new important project for them.

Skills

*Must have Strong Linux experience;
*Red Hat 5.4 and previous versions, developing a Red Hat 5.4 build, and Red Hat 5.4 implementations;
*Nice to have knowledge of other Red Hat versions/implementations, and experience with snapcreator/snapmanager products and NetApp storage;
*Networking;
*Excellent communication skills, can work independently, can manage their own tasks and time and deliver within agreed timelines, willing to work outside office hours, flexible, stress resistant, teamplayer, result-oriented.

Key responsibilities

The component owner is responsible to collect requirements for the component, translate requirements to deliverables, create the desired design documentation, create document deliverables (manuals, operational procedures), implement and test the component, perform handover and support for operations

Role Description

Within the project several releases have been defined, and per release several components need to be created or updated. Per component a fixed number of phases is defined, and a single owner per component is been assigned. The owner will be end-to-end responsible for full delivery of the component according to requirements

Key Deliverables

*Define the requirements, architecture and designs for the component;
*Implement, install and configure the component;
*Develop and execute test for the component;
*Handover and perform aftercare for the assigned components

This role is to start immediately for a period of at least 6 months, with a good chance of extension.
