A LINUX ENGINEER/DESIGNER for one of our leading tech clients urgently needs a Linux Engineer/
Designer for a long term contract in North Holland, Netherlands. The successful Linux Engineer/Designer will be responsible for Design/implementation of new functionalities.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Knowledge of and experience with Red HatlCentos version 6 and 7.
- Knowledge of and experience with Red Hat and CentOS 6 and 7
- Knowledge of Linux kickstart
- Knowledge of and experience with VMWare.
- Knowledge of and experience with storage area networks.
- Knowledge of and experience with databases (MS SQL and PostgreSoL).
- To cope with guidelines and process used.
- Knowledge of open source tooling (Nexus, Maven, NetBeans).
- Knowledge of LDAP and SSD (integrating Linux and Windows).
- Knowledge of and experience with GIT.
- Knowledge and experience with Object Oriented methods and techniques.
- Knowledge and experience with network infrastructures.
- Knowledge of and experience with distributed data processing.
- Knowledge of XML is a plus.
- Knowledge of and experience with Scrum/Agile method.
- Knowledge of and experience with C ++.
CONTRACT: 6-12 months + Likely extension
