Linux - Devops Engineer

LINUX ENGINEER - DEVOPS OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a highly motivated DevOps Engineer who will bridge and oversee business and technology gaps which span across operations and development. This position demands someone who marries his or her love for operations with a passion for development. The person selected for this role will enjoy continual and interesting challenges which include but are not limited to subjects of tool development, configuration management, continuous integration, release management, automated testing and monitoring, all within a heavy Linux environment. You will interface with the QA teams on a daily basis and help provide services and infrastructure to them.

The technology stack offered by this cutting edge organization includes Ruby, MongoDB, Jenkins, Chef and NoSQL. This Agile environment utilizes paired programming and test driven development. This opportunity offers extremely casual dress code and flexible work hours in a fun environment.

WHAT WE\'RE LOOKING FOR

- You have worked on very large Internet applications and were instrumentally involved with the scaling and performance challenges
- Experience working in a high availability web production environment
- Willing to work closely with others towards the shared goal of site reliability and performance

REQUIRED SKILLS

- Linux- 3+ Years
- Programming experience in one of the following - Ruby, JavaScript or Python
- 2+ years professional experience in a similar position
- Configuration Management (Puppet or Chef)
- Experience with Cloud service providers (AWS)
- Previous work experience in a startup environment is a plus
