THE QUALIFICATIONS YOU NEED
- 5 years in a senior Linux specialist role with experience from a large or medium sized international company.
- Business oriented approach and ability to communicate in English and a problem-solver who is able to get the clients points across in a large organization.
THE POSITION WE OFFER
The Linux Consultant will be responsible for areas within Linux Operation, development of installation, operational procedures and guidelines for server infrastructure, hardware/software components, and management tools in the data centers.
The Linux Consult3rd level support for the IT-Supporters, Database Specialist, Network Specialist, IT Specialists and Developers in all tasks related to installation, operation and maintenance of the Servers' infrastructure and for other infrastructure components and applications.
You interact with Infrastructure Experts and Architects to ensure at all time that the design and given server infrastructure strategy is followed and carried out.
You act on a regional level and takes full responsibility for operations and implementations cross borders.
A senior member of the Linux Team - Operational quality and platform services are the client's primary responsibilities. The Linux systems managed and related services are based on latest technology, which means that we are at the forefront of the Linux platform area.
You will work on long-term projects to improve the client's global IT services and problem handling; you use the client's technical knowledge to take active part.
You will point team members towards right directions, or to colleagues with great knowledge on specialized areas to make sure we use the clients' vast pool of knowledge optimally.
At all times you look to improve efficiency, secure high quality within the client's area of responsibility and that we meet deadlines.
SENIOR LINUX SPECIALIST WITHIN THE CLIENTS UNIX PLATFORMS
As the key Linux Consultant you will ensure great customer experiences with an international team!
We make sure that the client's colleagues in the bank focus on their customers by ensuring stable IT solutions. As Senior Specialist in the Linux Team, you will be part of a strategic operational business unit with employees in the Nordic region, Poland and Baltic countries.
UNIX Platforms is part of IT Operations and we are responsible for supporting THE CLIENT's business applications and internal IT services with stable IT solutions. We use the latest technology and tools and the clients work processes are based on best practice and the client's procedures follow ITIL standards.
