Linux Based HLR Expert

LINUX BASED HLR EXPERT - SERVICES ENGINEER

A Linux based HLR expert is required on contract in Stein, Netherlands. As a Services Engineer you will be responsible for the implementation of 1 new GHLR: GHLRF in the VF-NL and VF-Global network, using Sigtran connections to the ITPs. These HLRs also have to be integrated with Ericsson FM/PM and with GDSP provisioning systems. Following assumptions are made for this quote:

- New GHLR has same hardware as existing GHLRs
- New GHLR only gets 20404 Global ISR IMSI range
- No subscribers have to be moved from GHLRA/GHLRC/D to GHLRF
- Routing between various HLRs is based on static IMSI and static MSISDN (static IMSI/MSISDN relation) ranges
- Changes to provisioning environment are out of scope
- Design, including low level design, is out of scope (assumed to be done by VF-NL).
- Platform installation and commissioning is out of scope for ENN (will be done by Data Integration under supervision of ENN)
- Software installation/upgrade to the latest version (2.2.4) is included.
- Changes to IP Transport network are included in scope.
- Floorspace, Power and Cabling are considered out of scope
- Note that location has to be selected in agreement and based on available Power/Floorspace and wrt Disaster Recovery
- Integration with Fault Management is in scope from HLR point of view, note that possibly required changes to TeMIP environment are outside of scope
