Linux Automation Engineer - Cloud Services Experience

IT Infrastructure is responsible for delivering stable, high quality, secure and cost-efficient infrastructure solutions for Client's businesses. This incorporates design, implementation, security and support of (amongst others) data center networks, server capacity, data centers, workplace (desktop, laptop, mobile) etc.

Engineering Cloud & Platforms consists of multiple technical expertise areas: Windows, Linux, InfraOne automation, Storage & Compute, Networks and Cloud.

We are looking for a Linux Automation Engineer that will join the Linux Engineering team and work on Microservices/containers.

The main responsibilities are:
Design, engineer and create implementation strategies for Linux products and Microservices/container development
You are resourceful, flexible, analytically strong and when needed, critical
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
High proficiency in speaking, reading and writing English
Understanding of the Linux Operating System. Red Hat Linux is a pre
Automate your way out of everything. Experience in one of the following Scripting languages: bash, python, ruby, Perl,...
Configuration Management state of mind. No local changes all systems changes via configuration management. Experience with one of the following tools: Cfengine or Salt preferable Puppet and Ansbile.

Desirable (pre):
Experience with system management solutions like Red Hat Satellite 6, Katello/Foreman
Experience with cloud management solutions like Red Hat CloudForms, ManageIQ, vRealize
Experience with container management and orchestration solutions like Docker, Kubernetes, Swarm, Red Hat OpenShift
Linux certification: RHCE and/or LPI-2
Experience with public cloud offerings: GPC, Amazon, Azure

Skills:
IT Operations. Understanding IT operations activities and tasks. Familiar with ITIL and ICP (Incident, Change, Problem).
Design and build. Being able to design and implement solutions for operations.
Development and testing. Being able to develop automation solutions. Testing skills is a pre.
