Amoria Bond currently seeks a Senior Linux System Administrator to join our international client (100% English speaking) in Amsterdam on a permanent basis.

Key responsibilities:
*Maintain and provide support for business critical systems
*Creative and quality focussed IT systems admin professional
*Ensure smooth system-run by performing updating, installing, troubleshooting, recovering and maintaining of the existing and new features in Linux.
*Excellent communication skills
*Service oriented
*Devise, develop and implement resiliency, recovery and archiving procedures and test these regularly to minimise risks in the business.
*Administer Web application Servers, database Servers, and business infrastructure Servers as necessary.
*User Support and Communication
*Interface between production, development and other teams
Skills:
*Linux and/or Solaris systems administration
*UNIX Scripting and systems administration automation
*Some experience of administering MySQL
*Experience in a Linux/Apache E-commerce environment
*Familiarity with Internet services such as DNS, E-mail transport, etc
*Experience of Fibre Channel SAN and large storage systems & experience of systems monitoring and alerting software.

Candidates should have solid experience in setting up, maintaining and administering Linux and/or Solaris in an E-commerce environment, with problem diagnosis and resolution and business critical systems, dedicated to the quality of your work, meticulous about detail and capable of working pro-actively and on your own initiative in carrying out your day-to-day role with limited need for supervision.
