LINUX ADMINISTRATOR needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Omaha,NE.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Must have a solid working knowledge of RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL5/6) operating systems and Linux High Performance Computing (HPC), RHEL HA (High Availability) Cluster management, RedHat Satellite Server (RHSS), RedHat Enterprise Virtualization (RHEV), and HP and Dell blade server chassis management.
- Have a good understanding of networking/zoning to include VLAN/VSAN setup, Storage Area Network (SAN) administration skills including Compellent and XP24000, and experience with RHEL and SELINUX system security lockdowns to include SCAP STIG and NESSUS ACAS mitigations.
- Provide Support Planning and Review and Support-activity reporting services, and must be able to participate in a rotating 24x7 on-call operational support role.
- Provide ongoing technical recommendations
- Provide change management assistance for HP infrastructure
- Conduct the Support Planning and Review meetings
- Co-ordinate other HP resources as necessary
- Update the Account Support Plan

- Helps to identify trends and potential problems within Offutt Air Force Base IT environment
- Support Activity Reviews
- Resource would maintain detailed level of account knowledge about Offutt Air Force Base IT environment from a technical, operating procedure and business impact perspective.
- In the case of a hardware related incident the resource will work with the HP to resolve this issue.
- Provide system administrator functions and provide expertise and reach back support for HP systems.
- Provide system administration support to the program's Linux and Enterprise Storage Solution (ESS) production, test, and development environments, to include: system installation, configuration, troubleshooting, performance analysis, tuning, upgrading, patch maintenance, license management, system backup administration, user account/environment administration, implementing and maintaining system security postures, fiber attached storage manipulation, and assisting with hardware/software installations.
- Be self-motivated and will follow standard processes, plan effectively to complete tasks on schedule, and clearly document processes and results.
- Participate in a rotating 24x7 on-call operational support role.
