Linux Administrator for Multinational Client in the Hague

WE ARE LOOKING FOR A LINUX ADMINISTRATOR TO WORK AT OUR MULTINATIONAL CLIENT IN THE HAGUE

EXPECTED TASKS AND DELIVERABLES BY THE CONSULTANTS

Working on their own initiative showing creativity and a committed drive to obtain the results required
-

Implementing system enhancements across the full software development life cycle, from requirements gathering through to post-implementation support
-

Becoming subject matter experts of assigned applications and mentor other members of the team on technologies and applications
-

Install, configure, document, monitor, manage, update, and support the PC hardware, peripherals, operating system, email, browser, and office suite

EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE

-

University degree with minimum 6 years hands on experience with Linux administration
-

Experience with administration of Linux (Z/Linux/SUSE/RedHat).
-

Experience with BASH or Perl Scripting.
-

Experienced with working in large government/public-body organisations;
-

Experienced in multi-national environment;
-

Specialised in transformation for IT services;
-

Proven experience in iterative development methods, continuous integration and delivery, test automation and software quality management.
-

Experience in providing process and product advice.
-

Strong practical knowledge of industry standard development and integration technologies.
-

Strong interpersonal skills, including experience with teamwork, facilitation and negotiation.
-

Ability to influence - and gain the support of - a wide range of stakeholders at different levels in the organisation.

A strong delivery-minded approach.
-

Experienced in cross-departmental transformation.

Experience with similar projects;
-

Very good Communication skills, interpersonal skills and analytical skills.

Being active in a multi-cultural environment, the Contractor's staff shall have a very good level of English (oral and written).

The knowledge of German and French will be of added benefit.
