Responsibilities His/her role during this project is to manage the Linux and Unix infrastructure on one side and prepare the data center moves on the other side. He/she is in close contact with the developers of the applications during upgrades, tunings or migrations. His/her tasks include the configuration and management of LDAP, Solaris zones, Oracle VM,Oracle Enterprise Manager,...
The deployment of new Servers needed to be more automated using kickstart/automated installer.
After the initial configuration the server needed to be customized using Ansible.
IT-Skills Ansible, Linux RedHat, Solaris, Solaris ldom, Solaris zone, Oracle Enterprise Manager 13c, Bash, LDAP, Oracle VM, Xen.
Clear focus first on RedHat Linux knowledge
Customer knows that a lot can only be learned on the job, so someone with Linux admin proven track will be enough' (ie. no application specialist having worked on Linux without admin rights ), to minimize the learning period, and the risks.
