One of my Semi-conductor clients is urgently looking for a Linux Administrator for a 6+ month rolling contract in Eindhoven, Netherlands.
THE LINUX ADMINISTRATOR WILL:
- Bachelor's Degree and 3-6 years of IT industry experience.
- Solaris SPARC OS 8,9,10 troubleshooting Work Experience on Solaris T5 hardware with exposure towards control domain, VM build etc. LDOM,ZONES build and troubleshooting. NFS,NIS implementation and troubleshooting VCS Cluster based Filesystem creation, extension.
- Normal Filesystem[ZFS,VXVM] filesystem creation, extension. Host based Storage migration with ZFS,VXVM which includes mirroring,breaking of logical volumes OS patching. Linux OS build and LVM filesystem creation, extension.
- Work experience on Rsync. Hardware Management, Blade Server Configuration and Management, Remote/Console access and diagnostics knowledge, BIOS/Firm ware version control.
- OS Installation, Upgrade, Patching, OS Hardening and security standards.
- Cluster, high availability administration, performance tuning and Capacity planning and troubleshooting
