JOB TITLE: Linux Administrator

LOCATION: The Hague, Netherlands

LENGTH: 6 month extendable contract

LANGUAGES: English Fluent and Dutch Fluent

JOB ROLE:

Performing management work on IT systems, networks and/or applications. Within the function group, the emphasis is on organizing and managing, advising on this and supporting users.

- develops the infrastructure;
- establish and manage IT systems, networks and applications;
- supports users with complex problems.

THE CANDIDATE HAS COMPLETED THE FOLLOWING COURSES:

- Theoretical Technical Education;
- RHCSA 7;
- UL2 (AT computing - UNIX/Linux 2)
- Linux Professional Institute Certification 1 (LPIC-1)
- SuSE Certified Linux Administrator

AT LEAST FIVE (5) YEARS OF DEMONSTRABLE RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE WITH THE ABOVE ACTIVITIES

- HBO work and thinking level (to be demonstrated by a completed HBO study program or at least five (5) years of work experience at HBO level);
- Must be Dutch Business level speaking.
- Demonstrable knowledge in the field of IT: the candidate knows how to translate the relevant developments and techniques in the field of IT systems, networks and applications into design and applications;
- Demonstrable knowledge in the field of management: the candidate knows how to translate techniques in the field of IT systems, networks and applications into system, network and application management and user support;
- Demonstrably skilled in the field of Advising: the candidate can take into account the different techniques and can adjust the advice and the actions accordingly;
- Demonstrably skilled in the field of Communication Technology: the candidate can adapt the communication to the situation and the public in order to convey the advice or decision;
- Demonstrably skilled in the field of Application: the candidate can translate developments and techniques in the field of IT systems, networks and applications into management.
- Competences: stress resistance, analytical ability, customer orientation, oral communication and Quality orientation.
