Linux Administrator

We have an immediate need for an experienced Linux System engineer. The ideal candidate should be experienced with working with Linux server deployment on both bare metal and virtual environments. The candidate needs to be a team player, with good communication skills and the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.

Key Skill/Requirements:

Strong experience in Linux (preferably Red Hat Enterprise Linux) System Administration, Configuration & Deployment.

Strong on, Unix Shell Scripting, eg bash

Experience working in a GxP environment.

Ability to work effectively as part of a geographically dispersed team

(Basic) Knowledge of Operational testing eg Installation Qualification (IQ) and Functional Testing

Knowledge of development life cycle & change process, ability to work in a standard and controlled environment

Team player

Ability to work without supervision.

Good written communication - able to communicate effectively and frequently

Tasks to be performed:

Help in updating/migrating operating system from Red hat Linux version 6 to version 7

Changing grid resource manager from Sun grid engine to IBM platform (Spectrum) LSF
