Linux Administrator

Linux Administrator needed for a 12 month rolling contract in the Hague. Starting ASAP!

Technical Skills

Experience as Linux administrator.

Advanced Linux User.

Good Scripting abilities in one of the following (Python, Ruby, Bash, Groovy)

Java, JEE and Spring design and principles.

Web service/API integration experience via Restfull webservices.

Knowledge of Spring MVC, Hibernate.

Personal Skills

Exp. of troubleshooting performance issues & implementing solutions

Able to manage self and others to solve complex problems collaboratively

'Can do' attitude

Be able to working in an international organisation

Experience

Experience debugging a complex multi-server service Java SOAP environments.

Experienced at configuring Java (JVM settings etc) and analysing problems (Jstack, JMap, Btrace).

Experienced with JBoss

Experienced working with, installing and configuring Apache, JBoss.

Have significant experience developing in Java and Spring

Familiarity in setting standards, and automation, as pre-reqs for managing a large environment.

Nice to have

Experienced working with Active Directory

Knowledge of Kerberos and Spengo

Interest in CaaS, SaaS and Microservices

Experience using devops tools such as Jenkins, Puppet.

Experience with Elastic Search
