Linux Administrator

LINUX ADMINISTRATOR

A Linux Administrator is urgently required for an ASAP start with a major client in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

The Linux Administrator will have experience in implementation and management of complex business applications, including organising and interpreting performance - and acceptance tests. Technical knowledge of Windows 2012, Linux (RHEL), WebSphere (WAS 8.5) and SAS 9.4 is a prerequisite.

The Linux Administrator will be responsible for integrating systems and designing technical architecture, the Linux Administrator will have the following skills and experience-

- Experience across various levels of testing - acceptance, production acceptance, functional, and regression, and E2E and chain tests across large scale environments.
- Linux/Unix including system commands, Scripting, configuration of applications on Linux.

WebSphere Application Server is nice to have - IBM OpenPages is nice to have
- Strong communication skills and collaborative mentality
- Analytical and solution focused
- HBO knowledge level
- Experience with complex application implementation on Linux (RHEL Server) and/or Windows 2012
- Experience with Scrum methodology and Continuous Delivery
- Fluent English (Dutch/Flemish is an advantage)
- Integration and implementation of complex business applications on the clients' PaaS solutions.
- Configuration development.
- Implementation of security standards and administration of that in security Matrixes
- Maintain up-to-date client specific installation and configuration documentation.
