Amoria Bond is looking for a Linux Red Hat Engineer for a client in Utrecht. The project will last at least 12 months, but will most probably be extended. 3 months rolling contracts are offered.

The client is looking for a Linux Red Hat Administrator with hands on experience in Red Hat 5 and/or 6 and as a Oracle DBA. Responsibilities lie mainly in 2nd and 3rd line support, and here and there some project engineering support in Oracle departments. You will also be involved in configuring and installing Linux based packages, solving incidents, and communicating with colleagues in other departments (storage, networking, hardware, etc.) You will preferably have some Scripting experience in Perl and/or Bash, to automate the environment.

The successful Engineer needs to be knowledgeable in Linux Red Hat 5 and 6, RHCE certificate is a plus), Oracle and has worked in a large and complex enterprise environment (400+ Servers). Nice to have skills are Networking, Oracle Enterprise Management, LVM, Shell of Perl Scripting. One needs to know the relationships between the different departments of Storage, Networking, Hardware, etc.
