This role is available for an immediate start !
Candidates must have experience working in a banking or finance environment.
The individual will be expected to have in depth technical experience of the following:-
Strong working knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 5, OEL & UEK2
Good knowledge of enterprise storage technologies (NFS) (ZFS)
Good Scripting/programming ability including BASH, Shell and PHP or Perl
Low-level Linux (file systems, Kernel settings, device management etc)
Experience of upgrades, patch management, monitoring and Backup and recovery.
Proactively monitoring systems and suggesting/implementing system improvements to ensure efficient and effective operations.
Any Exadata knowledge would be advantageous.
