Linux Administrator - Dublin

CPL Solutions currently have an urgent requirement for a Linux Administrator to work a daily rate contract in Dublin.

YOU WILL HAVE EXPERIENCE IN THE FOLLOWING:

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

- Experience of hands on administration and support of open source technologies with expert knowledge in Linux, Apache, PHP and MySQL configuration in Enterprise Environments.
- Experience of hands on experience with Shell Scripting
- Expert knowledge of configuration management systems (CFEngine, Puppet) design, implementation and support
- Excellent knowledge of mail systems (Postfix).
- Excellent knowledge of monitoring systems (Nagios, Cacti).
- Expert knowledge of system and network management concepts
- Excellent knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, NTP, HTTP and routing.
- Excellent knowledge of HP Intel based server hardware and technology
- Excellent knowledge of OS Imaging/deployment and patching solutions
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Excellent Written and Oral communication skills.
- BSc degree in EE/CS/Computer Engineering preferred, or relevant work experience/certification.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
