Lines Designer

SUMMARY

- Prepares cost effective electrical/mechanical designs and constructions job packages, requires for customer's electrical service.
- Analyzes the energy needs of customers, developers, architectural/engineering firms and governmental agencies and recommends/reaches agreement on method of service.
- Determines customer charges, initiates billing and executes necessary contracts.
- Satisfactory completion of courses in basic electricity, drafting CAD and mathematics (Geometry or Trigonometry).
- Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with all internal and external customers.
- Must be able to manage several projects simultaneously and be able to effectively prioritize work based on time deadlines.

SKILLS:

EXPERIENCE:

- Experience working with Work Management Systems, preferably Maximo.
- Experience working with GIS (Geographical Information Systems) products such as ESRI.
- Must have a 5 years experience combined in the Planner Planning Design position or its predecessor positions.
- Must have an associates degree or (completion of two years of a four year program) in a related technical field.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
