LIMS Administrator

One of the leading clients is currently seeking for a LIMS Administrator to work on a 18 month long contract (option for remote) contract position in Ijmuiden, NL.

My client is looking for a candidate who has a certain seniority and can advise the customer based on experience around best practice processes and how they can be supported with the Thermo Fisher packages (consultant like). On the other hand somebody who can help doing the configuration of the system and make the system ready to realise these processes (system admin).

The above means in our opinion that the candidate must have:

- Technique: Configure the application Sample Manager together with the supplier ThermoFisher. Gain knowledge from ThermoFisher for future support. Connect new machines to the application via Integration Manager. For Integration Manager knowledge of C#/.net is preferred. It is also an option to have that knowledge with another person/team.
-Consultancy: work closely with the business to get the requirements clear and propose the best solution.
- Prepare for BAU phase.
- Because of the agile approach and the consultancy needed, the job requires onshore presence at Ijmuiden site. Dutch is the preferred language.
- Train end users in the application.
