Lifting Supervisor

Quanta are actively looking for a Offshore Lifting Supervisor required to work on a Wind Farm project Offshore (Dutch Sector).

In this position knowledge of LR11350 (Liebherr) in super lift configuration is essential.

Offshore Lifting Supervisor will be responsible for the supervision of the team including both the employees from the client as the subcontractors, contact with the client, making detailed reports/
administration and the co-ordinating of:

.Positioning of the barges, boats, supervision on the control of the legs
.Guiding the tails/installation of monopiles
.Lifting and positioning of the monopile hammer, installation of the WTG S
.Planning and guiding in regards to the weather forecasts
.Checking and controlling of the equipment
.Knowledge of sledges
.Notice of possible maintenance work
.Super lift activities
.Safety
.Preparing the cranes

The Offshore Lifting Supervisor needs to hold the following qualifications:

.NOGEPA 0.5A
.LR11350 knowledge and experience in regards to super lift
.Heavy lifting supervisor certificate (for example: Loler)
.VCA Vol
.BOSIET + HUET and EBS or GWO sea surival, GWO first aid, GWO fire awareness.

Experience with the following is advantageous:

Maritime activities, knowledge of super cranes, crane activities, barge master.

Start date: 1st week of March 2015
Duration: March - September (7 months)
Work Days: 6 days a week, 12 hours a day.
Rotations: 4 Weeks on/1 Week off
Rate: DOE
