Liferay Web Designer - Brussels
My client, a leading organisation based in Brussels, are looking for an experienced Liferay Designer to join their project for an initial 1 month.
The solution engineer is responsible for developing portlets in Liferay area. He/she analyzes the required functionalities and extends itself possible solutions. He/she has extensive knowledge of the technical capabilities of the system liferay and thinks along with the client about how the system can best be used to achieve the objectives.
Together with the client, he/she will ensure the development of the website in accordance with the latest standards. This engineer is experienced in designing user (for both user and administrator) portals.
Technical context
Graduate - or degree level with a minimum of 5 years experience
SCRUM, OOP, XSLT, (X) HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SOAP, JBoss, Java, PHP, XML, JSP, jQuery, Responsive design
Software Architecture, BPMN, Use Cases, User Stories, wireframes, mock-ups
XMLSpy, Confluence, LDAP, JIRA
Liferay Certification is a plus
5 years of practical experience
Dutch Speaking
Good team player, social skills
Aptitude for managing a production environment:
responsibility, thinking ahead in multiple scenarios quickly and caring act in stressful situations, analytical thinking, recognize the need for proper documented procedures
