Liferay Consultant

JOB TITLE: LIFERAY CONSULTANT - CONTRACT

LOCATION: THE HAGUE NETHERLANDS

DURATION: 80 - 380 DAYS

DAY RATE: €470.00

We are currently looking for an experienced Liferay consultant for an exciting contract opportunity based in the Dutch city of the Hague.

DESCRIPTION

Give 3rd line support - support Helpdesk and IT Operations (application administrator),

Help the Business Product Manager with site setup (structure and user management) and content management,

Make new hot-fix releases when needed for the custom Liferay plugins developed by the Institution - analyse, develop, deploy to TEST environment, make a release package (binaries, configuration files and installation scripts) for PROD environment, make documentation.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor Degree in IT or related field, after secondary school

A minimum of 3 years of experience in ICT in a medium-sized enterprise environment.

Minimum of 5 years of experience with Liferay, of which 2 with LifeRay 7 DPX - develop and deploy, integration with LDAP and Elastic Search 6

Experience with installing Liferay 7 DXP in RedHat Enterprise Linux (version 6.5 or 7.X), including clustering, SSL, LDAP integration.

Knowledge of RedHat Eenterprise Linux 7.4

Knowledge of Bash script

Knowledge on the following will be considered an asset:

Microsoft Windows Server 2016

Microsoft AD LDS

Powershell script

Microsoft SQL Server

Awareness of generic Networking concepts such as VLAN, firewall, F5 load balancing, DNS

Matomo (Piwik)

OpenFire XMPP server

Working experience on the following will be considered an asset:

Apache HTTP web server in RedHat Enterprise Linux 7.X (proxy to Tomcat).

Liferay Developer Studio

- Maven 3.X (preferably in combination with Git)
- SQL
- Git (preferably Microsoft TFS and Git)
- Puppet
- UML diagrams (preferably using Microsoft Visio)
- Very good level of written and spoken English is required (B2 or higher)
