LIFE SCIENCES TECHNOLOGIST needed for a LONG-TERM CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Andover, MA.

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- In vitro experiments
- ADME studies
- LC/MS and HPLC

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Operate LC/MS/MS instruments independently, and develop LC/MS/MS method to separate and detect small molecules
- Identification of drug metabolites using liquid chromatography-Tandem mass spectrometry and other analytical methodologies.
- Perform various in vitro ADME experiments, including metabolic stability using microsomes and hepatocytes isolated from various species, CYP inhibition/TDI, protein binding, and reaction phenotyping.
- Familiar with standard data analysis software packages used in the industry such as GraphPad, or other similar software packages
- Maintain laboratory notebook and complete all documentation according to the standard operating procedures.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- B.S. or M.S. in Biology, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences or other related field
- Skillful in elucidation of chemical structures using mass spectrometry.
- Experience with in vitro ADME studies and analytical techniques (HLPC and LC/MS)
- Experience with tissue culture/aseptic techniques.
- Familiar with laboratory automation and liquid handling equipment.
- Competencies in organic synthesis, chemical purification and NMR are pluses.
