The successful candidate will also have the following expertise:
Life and Pensions business knowledge and project delivery experience.
Extensive and detailed Project or Programme Management, across different Portfolios and/or business functions.
Knowledge of project management practices, methods and tools - Prince2, PMI, CORBIT, PDCA, Six Sigma, Waterfall, Agile, RUP, PRiSM
Has an excellent understanding of the project management body of knowledge and software delivery life cycles in a number of project environments. Good knowledge of project management software.
Achieved Project Management certification (APMP, Prince2 or equivalent) and has ambition to further develop knowledge of change management best practice.
IT domain experience.
Demonstrable track record of successful delivery of projects with significant IT content, including in-house build and 3rd party implementations.
Project Planning.
Produces robust and integrated project plans demonstrating skills in defining scope and approach, resource management, estimating, scheduling and change control.
Cost & Benefits Management.
Expert in use of cost and benefits management processes, tools and techniques. Produces high quality and accurate project budgets, forecasts and cost benefit analysis for complex projects. Understands the benefits management life cycle.
