Licensing Engineer

A Fortune 500 energy company is currently seeking a Sr. Licensing Engineer to utilize NRC correspondence processes for developing, reviewing, and submitting required correspondence to the NRC. This position will require travel between Raleigh and Charlotte. This project is scheduled to last 6 months, with the possibility of extension. Per diem and mobilization / demobilization will be available for qualified candidates. Actual pay rate will be commensurate with experience, so all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply. RESPONSIBILITIES

- Determine level of detail necessary and coordinate engineering vendor preparation and prepare, review, validate, and submit correspondence to the NRC staff under oath and affirmation
- Focus will be on correspondence related to the Fukushima Orders and 50.54(f) Letter in support of the Fukushima fleet project team

REQUIREMENTS

- Previous experience preparing, validating, and submitting correspondence to the NRC is required
- Experience with NRC submittals for generic issues and Orders preferred
- Previous B.5.b experience preferred
