LICENSED TRADE ACCOUNTANT / REGIONAL AREA MANAGER

Location: Home Based - Huddersfield, Edinburgh or Glasgow

Role Type: Self -Employed / Franchise

OTE £30k to £35k

Retainer per pub + commission for new customers acquired

THE COMPANY:

Our client is a specialist pub accountancy firm dedicated to providing professional accounting and payroll services to the licensed trade. They are currently seeking to recruit Accountants / Regional Area Managers covering two regions either in Huddersfield or Glasgow / Edinburgh with experience of working within the Licenced Trade sector.

THE ROLE:

• Generating new business with licenced trade customers

• Managing the accounting and compliance requirements of existing licenced trade customers

• Reviewing and advising on management accounts supplied by outsourced 3rd party partners

• Visiting and liaising with Pubco area managers and visiting pubs

• Some office based administration, marketing work and attendance at road shows.

NOTE: The role does NOT include accounts preparation work as this is done via an outsourced 3rd party.

THE PERSON:

• Working knowledge of the licensed trade and its accounting issues

• A minimum accountancy qualification of AAT (ACA / ACCA desirable)

• Good communication skills / relationship building skills

• Driven to acquire new customers (sales)

• IT literate and own car
