LICENCED B1 ENGINEER

DESCRIPTION

As a BI Engineer you will carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on our clients fleet. Ensuring that the required standards are met and the operating programme is achieved in an efficient and safe manner.

You will exercise your license/approval in relation to the accomplishment of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, rectification of defects, and will ensure maintenance is accomplished to the required standards and that the operating programme is achieved in an efficient and safe manner.

You will also record and issue certificates of release to service for the work accomplished and review the work and resources allocated and required to ensure expedient rectification of defects

REQUIREMENTS

To be successful in this role you will:

- Hold EASA Part 66 B1 license and authorisation or equivalent on company aircraft (Airbus)
- Able to demonstrate up-to-date knowledge of applicable airworthiness legislation
- Have Operational experience in a line maintenance environment
- Proven ability to communicate issues to management
- High degree of customer focus - both internal and external
- Able to work effectively in a team, as well as independently, in all levels of the organisation
- Have a willingness to be flexible in order to meet deadlines and overcome operational problems and embrace change and drive improvements within the business
- Be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of Health and Safety Legislation
- Demonstrate proficiency in IT
