A Primary School in Coventry are looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join their staff as soon as possible. This culturally diverse school offers an attractive work environment , prides itself on high quality-teaching, and is fully committed to inclusion.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work within a new SEN department to provide one-to-one support to a KS1 pupil who suffers from general learning difficulties. Your primary responsibilities will be to:

* Work alongside other teaching staff to design and implement the children's's IEP
* Prepare appropriate resources and teaching materials that allow the pupils to access to the national curriculum
* Assess and monitor the pupil's progress and development
* Promote inclusion, manage behaviour and create a positive learning environment both in and out of the classroom

The successful candidate will be patient and flexible with previous experience of supporting students with SEN, ideally within a Primary School. A good knowledge of Early Years Curriculum would be an advantage but is not essential as training can be provided.
