Level 2 Technology Support Officer

- 3 MONTH INITIAL CONTRACT WITH VIEW TO EXTEND

Our client is looking for a Level 2 Desktop Support person for a 3 month contract which a view to extend on a long term project.

We are looking for someone to lead and coordinate an IT team as well as provide 2nd level support for a range of technologies including Windows, Laptops, and Networks. You will advise stakeholders on technical issues as well as lead the team who is installing, testing, upgrading and maintaining equipment. You will perform a range of duties and support a number of sites across Far Western NSW. IT is critical that you have a DRIVER\'S LICENSE for this role, although a car will be provided for travel.

Ideally you will have experience in WAN/LAN INSTALLATION AND CONFIGURATION, knowledge of STANDARD INTERNET PROTOCOLS AND SERVICES, and a DRIVER\'S LICENSE. You must also have the ability to learn quickly and strong communication skills. You should also have good ADMINISTRATIVE AND CLERICAL SKILLS as well as A GOOD UNDERSTANDING OF COMPUTER USAGE. If you have hands on technical experience or have done a computing studies program that would be ideal!
