We have an urgent requirement for an experienced Level 2 Desk Side Support/Service Desk Engineer for a 6 month contract in Belgium.

Work location: Diegem
Duration: 6 months, 8 hours/day
Start: ASAP
Languages: Flamish, French, English

Purpose:
Local IT Deskside Support Team reporting to Regional IT Manager

Scope of Work:

1.Manage allocated calls from the Service Desk tool (ITSM/ServiceNow) through to completion, updating as required
2.Deploy, imaging via SCCM software, replace and maintain the HP/DELL leased PC environment.
3.Liaise with third-party support and PC equipment vendors. Report on any third party failure to deliver service.
4.Perform on-site and remote analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of desktop problems for end-users, and recommend and implement corrective solutions, including off-site repair for remote users as needed.
5.Support additional IT Teams (server/network) with basic skills on site if required.
6.Respond to and resolve Antivirus reports of infected clients.
7.Understand and apply best practices and standards defined by the IT Infrastructure management team.
8.Focus on customer service excellence, provide a professional business-focused approach to the support role.
9.Liaise with regional deskside team members in Europe when needed for problem solving.
10.Ability to work unsupervised in fast paced, stressful environment in a responsible manner.
11.Excellent communication and organizational skills both verbal and written English and native/fluent.
12.Ability to drive and may involve travelling to other sites.

Period of Performance:
6 months. Working 8 hours per day Monday to Friday.

Deliverables Schedule:
All activities should be recorded and documented in ITSM/ServiceNow. An on-line regional team meeting is held once a week to review completed, pending and on going activities.
